Breakfast Foods

Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

~1 loaf of thick bread (texas toast/potato bread)
crusts removed and cubed bite sized
~dozen eggs
~dash cinnamon
~1 1/2 cups of milk
~1-2 blocks of cream cheese
~strawberries or other soft fruit drained (fresh/frozen)
~1/2 cup of maple syrup

Night before:
 Cube bread place into sealed zip lock or bowl with lid
Crack 12 eggs (don't whip) into bowl with tight fitting lid  *
Cube cold cream cheese place into container.  *
*Put into fridge*

Next Morning:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2.  Spray 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
3.  Place cubed bread evenly into baking dish
4.  Whip eggs with wisk then add 1 1/2 cups of milk, whisk again
add dash of cinnamon to egg mixture and maple syrup
5.  Place cubes of cream cheese and drained fruit evenly on top of bread
6.  Pour egg mixture over all
7.  Bake in oven for 50-60 minutes
Top with syrup

I've made this with canned apple pie filling, blueberries, sliced bananas, drained canned peaches too.
