Just logging in to say....

Just logging in to say....

Thank you for the sweet emails checking in on me.   I'm sorry I haven't been able to answer them.  I have been missing for a time once again.

My daughter's best friend, Lauren, that I had requested the prayers for with her bone marrow transplant passed last Thursday.  Our hearts are heavy and we are full of sorrow, not only for our loss but for her loving family as well.

I come asking you once more to pray for their healing and understanding.  She fought so bravely for the past year.  I cannot begin to imagine the pain of loosing a child, and I pray that I will never have to.  What I can tell you is that watching your child suffer the loss of someone they loved and trusted is simply awful.  My whole family loved this child and will miss her dearly.

I am taking some time to help my daughter to work through this the best that we can, she has a hard couple of weeks ahead of her.  I will be back when the time is right to post.  Thank you to those of you who have come back to read throughout this past year.....I know it has been a slightly emotional post one after another.  I look forward to happier days.

Take care,
Dee

  13. One day while looking at a number of blogs, I happened to read your post about your daughter's friend and her fight against her disease. It broke my heart and I said a prayer for her and your daughter. It is so difficult to understand how and why things don't work out the way we want them to but I know that God gives strength to endure such heartaches. I am so very sorry for the hurt and disappointment all of you feel. I hope it helps in some small way to know there are many of us whom you have never met that care deeply for what your family and her family are going through. May God bless all of you. ------------Shannon

  16. May God touch your hearts with peace through this most difficult of times. My heart goes out to Laruen't family, too. I know the hurt when losing a child and it makes life very difficult for a very long time - well, always. When your heart hurts, pray to God for his love and for his comfort.

    Much love,
    Becky
